5 Great Ways of Manliness: How To Boost Your Self-Confidence

For many, confidence seems to be something of a mystery. But what is confidence? This is a term that gets thrown in many array of ways to mean a lot of different things. This is sometimes together with other traits life self-esteem and being optimistic, with which there's a certain overlap.

Yet confidence has it's own distinct quality, and is defined by other experts who study this professionally as the sense that you possess the skill and competence to successfully do a certain task - it's having faith in your ability to make something to happen.

When we are sometimes feeling low, we often to get down on ourselves. Of course, that doesn't help the situation, but it can be really difficult to pull yourself out from that negativity.

Here's the 5 great ways to boost your self-confidence.

1. Recognize it!

Recognizing the problem let us be aware of it, right? Other people didn't know that they have this confidence issue until they realize it because self esteem issues can be subconscious rather than conscious. People may even come across as confident although there are usually patterns of behavior, such as dating people who are unworthy of them, emotional eating or constantly posting pictures of yourself looking 'perfect' on social media that will provide crucial signposts of their innate lack of confidence.

2. Be curious about yourself

As what Aisling Curtin said, "Self awareness is your ally". She also suggest that building self awareness by way of self reflection: as yourself which actions take you closer to confidence and which take you further away.

3. Be Kind

Smile to people to brighten up their day or buy someone coffee to a person you just met. Being impulsively kind to others feels good, boosts our self-esteem, makes us feel happier and thus is obviously good for our overall health.

4. Know what you want

Having direction and clarity of mind will help you move forward with confidence."If the ladder is not leaning against the right wall, every step we take just gets us to the wrong place faster."

5. Forget about being perfect

So often people don't pursue things because they feel it has to be just right. They ruminate over how to approach things, conduct themselves, or say something to the point of getting filled with anxiety and either not taking any action at all or doing so in a way that lacks confidence.
