Partnering With Zürich Airport to Co-Create The Perfect Travel Wear
This summer, travelers to Zürich Airport will get the unique opportunity to co-create the travel wear they’ve always dreamed of.
Have you ever struggled to find the perfect clothes for traveling? It can be difficult finding travel wear that’s comfortable, especially for longer flights. If you answered “yes”, TBô’s latest collaboration project may pique your interest!
TBô and Zürich Airport in Switzerland recently partnered to launch a three-month concept store at the Airport’s Retail Circle. From June through August, travelers to Zürich will get a unique opportunity to design the travel wear they’ve always dreamed of.
Although the concept store will display a curated selection of items from the current TBô collection, it will also be a venue for travel-themed activities as well as live discussions on sustainability and travel.
The most unique aspect of the concept store, however, is the core project of the partnership: giving travel visitors the chance to co-create the perfect travel wear!
How it works
As part of the collaboration with Zürich Airport, visitors to the concept store will have the chance to design a limited four-piece collection onsite, as well as online through the TBô website. The goal? For all collaborators to co-create a travel-themed collection with the perfect blend of comfort, functionality and sustainability.
The concept store will first display a basic version of the collection. Visitors both onsite and online can learn more about each piece, try them on and make suggestions for adjustments to virtually any aspect of its creation.
We are looking forward to have visitors join us at the Circle to help develop the perfect clothing for travel.

Visitors can not only suggest modifications to the travel wear collection, but can also vote on other customers’ suggestions on the TBô community platform, the central forum for Tribe members to discuss what they want to see in new products, and giving consumers a voice for what they want to see and wear.
At the end of this process, the winning suggestions will be applied and the final version of the collection will be produced.
The final collection, co-created by the Airport and the TBô community, will be available for pre-order at the concept store as well as in the TBô online store.
All about co-creation
TBô’s partnership with Zürich Airport is a prime example of why co-creation is so vital to the future of retail: customers and community members are involved at a level unlike any other, and their input helps create a higher quality product, while at the same time being a product that customers actually want.
This collaborative process also makes a difference in the amount of waste the retail industry produces. Each year billions of clothing items are incinerated or landfilled due to inaccurate forecasting and mass manufacturing to market to fast fashion trends. By using customer feedback and pre-order targets to bring the ideal product to market, only the exact amount of items are manufactured—no more, no less.
Further, TBô’s focus on co-creation combines with its choice in clothing fabrics to create a truly sustainable product. Its signature environmentally-friendly bamboo viscose fabric is biodegradable, requires less water to produce, and needs no pesticides to grow, making it the ideal eco-friendly material.
Since the initial launch of its men’s underwear line, consumer demand for TBô has spurred new product innovations—co-created with its community—to cover a wider range of men’s wardrobes worldwide, including shorts, t-shirts, long johns and pajamas.
As the only Community-Led brand, TBô puts the power of collaborative product design into the hands of its customers and community. As shown by the collaborative project with Zürich Airport, co-creation gives product power to the people while making a positive impact on the planet.
At TBô, the community decides.
